Education PROGRAM

In every village IVC serves, a local woman is hired and trained to work with the other women in her village.  In groups and individually, she teaches them:

  • The importance of prenatal nutrition.
  • What baby supplemental nutrition will do for her children.
  • About daily hygiene, including using an outhouse instead of the fields.
  • The advantages of small families.

IVC is a Minnesota 501(c)(3) nonprofit, nonsectarian organization.
